Comments: This is looking down Essex from Berkshire--one can see our 3 car garage on the right but little of house--Garage also had lovely apt. above it which we rented to Mrs. Roberts til late in 1060's when the kids used it for parties, etc. Steve and friends moved a juke box up there he bought and boys developed photos up there, also

These large pictures were taken in Columbia City at Sears where they had a special on at $1.00 per picture but you could only have 2 children so Aunt Louise and I had Aunt Evy take Allen and Emily as hers--the oldest so they wouldn't spill the beans that they were not hers

Comments: Judy Bruno that lived on corner of Trombly and Essex in front of our house . She played with Pat and Agnone girls a lot. Mrs. Bruno was very organized. She would call , say she was coming over for 15 minutes and at exact end of that time, she would leave. Thy owned Bruno's Appliance Store in Detroit.

Comments: Steve is lst one on right on front row. He was one of the big pitchers on the Little League team. He and Tompkins boy argued all way home who was the winning pitcher one time.

Comments: Steve ready to go to Park to go swimming. Boys would ride their bikes there and one time Steve came home and said Allen and his friend rode clear down there and didn't say a word when he was along. He couldn't understand that. Also at right shows the windows in dining room that Allen remembers helping to wash and take down and put up storm windows.

Comments: Allen was helping Laura Flowers (Marcia's mother) and Grandma Polly pack car to go back to Busco. They had stopped by after spending a few days in northern MI and stayed with us a couple of days. Mom served them waffles on the back patio which they never forgot.
